Quick questions
Is Snipl free?
Yes. Snipl is free to use, and we do not sell your data.
Which files can I upload?
CSV, PDF or ZIP statements from your bank or card, plus screenshots or scans of your statements. Photos of a screen do not read well, so take a screenshot instead. Upload at least 2 months so we can spot what repeats. 3 or more is even better.
Does my statement leave my browser?
The files themselves never leave your browser. Personal details we detect are removed on your device, and only the cleaned lines (store, amount, date) of services we do not already know are sent to be analyzed when you press the button. Snipl does not store those lines.
Do you need my bank login?
No. We never ask for a bank login or password. You upload statements you already have.
How does cancelling work?
Snipl guides you through it. For the services we have checked, we open the official cancel page so you can cancel the ones you no longer want. You finish the cancellation yourself.
